Samantha Akkineni HD Wallpapers: Born as Samyuktha Varma, she is the youngest daughter of film producer Sri Surya Raghavendra and Shalini. She had her schooling in Mumbai and later completed her graduation from the MD College of Engineering in Bangalore. While attending college, she reportedly decided that she would pursue a career in acting. Akkineni's initial screen tests and auditions proved unsuccessful. This prompted her father to try her again in the Telugu film industry. In 2004, she was signed on to play a supporting role in the Telugu film ‘Andala Rakshasi’. However, the film did not do well at the box office, and her career failed to gain momentum. She later portrayed a supporting role in the Tamil film ‘Paradesi’ (2008) before debuting in the Telugu film ‘Bangara Little Bhoomi’ (2010).

Born as Samantha Arunachalam on 1 March 1988 in Chennai, India, Samantha Akkineni's father Arjun is a Tamil movie producer, editor and a former stockbroker. He is the founder of Elara Technologies which manufactures copper rods and welding wires. Her mother Kanchanamala is an Urdu professor, who is currently an Advisor to Sri Venkateswara University. They divorced in 2015. Samantha studied at Loyola College, Chennai and the XLRI, Jamshedpur. She attended Bharathidasan University for her graduation. She studied for an MBA at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Apart from Tamil and Telugu, she has starred in Hindi films as well.

On the professional front, Samantha Akkineni is currently preparing for her upcoming film 'Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India'. The film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead role and is produced by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi under the banner of RSVP movies. She is also starring in an upcoming Telugu spy thriller alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Samantha Akkineni Kids Samantha Akkineni is a single mother to a son. Samantha has a son named Kalyanram, who was born on May 8, 2010. Her second child, Aravind Akkineni, was born on May 5, 2016. She is also the elder sister of Telugu film star Akhil Akkineni.
